Chris and Kathryn were good friends during their high school days but it wasn't until they were in their early twenties when they saw each other for the first time after five years that they realized their feelings for each other. They always knew they had a special bond together but this only grew stronger and it wasn't long before they were inseparable.
Within weeks of being together they went away on their first trip which led the way for many more spectacular adventures together. After five years of dating Chris popped the question on a romantic weekend he planned at the Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino. Ten months later the two were married on a romantic fall afternoon. Even though rain was in the air nothing could put a damper on their most memorable day. In fact the rain brought a feeling of closeness and warmth that was felt throughout the entire day.
After the beautiful ceremony at the Greek Orthodox Church the happily married couple were swept away in their private vintage car where they spent their first afternoon as husband and wife posing for what turned out to be the most amazing photos! Back at their reception their guests entered the foyer of the Hotel Vancouver where they mingled with Champaign and live piano music. When it was time to enter the reception in the Pacific Ballroom guests were greeted with live jazz music and decor that was breathtaking. There was fabulous draping, uplighting, large beautiful centerpieces and candles as a finishing touch. The evening was magical as the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed dinner and dancing well in to the evening.
