Barbara & Chris's Sophisticated Vancouver Wedding

Five years ago, Barbara and Chris were introduced the old-fashioned way, by a mutual friend. Their first date was a Vancouver Canucks hockey game, followed by a late dinner. Over dinner at Chambar, Chris and Barb discovered many more commonalities: formative years abroad; love of food, cooking, wine, travel, movies; enjoyment of original HBO TV series. A fantastic first date.
Much more importantly, soon Barbara realized that Chris was the sweetest, kindest, gentlest man she could have ever imagined. On May 21, 2011 Barbara and Chris were extraordinarily happily wed, surrounded by close family and friends, at the inestimable venue that is the Penthouse at The Keefer. Their love of food was clearly evident..
Susan was instrumental in coordinating an incredible team of professionals that created a night that was PERFECT for them. Barbara knew that she had waited a long time. She had found the courage to be patient, to hope and strive for her heart, to NOT settle. Her reward was Chris. Her love, her only love, love of all her days. |
