| On September 9, 2008 Jeremy completely surprised Susie by renting out the private cottage at the Hart House restaurant and hiring an capella group to sing her favourite song while he proposed. They set the date for a year later on September 9, 2009 for several reasons: Susie loved the idea of being married on 09/ 09 / 09 because the number nine had several symbolic meanings throughout their relationship and Jeremy liked the date because it would make it easier to remember his anniversary!
After deciding upon a destination wedding, Jeremy's mother bumped into a lovely lady on a walk and happened to strike up a conversation. The two ladies hit it off and Jeremy's mother soon discovered that it just so happened her new friend specialized in destination weddings! Susie and Jeremy met with Susan Hyatt aka the Wedding Lady shortly thereafter and knew immediately that she was their ticket to the wedding of their dreams. Now married Susan and Jeremy look forward to the future which includes upcoming exotic travel adventures, spending time with their beloved dog Dexter and eventually starting a family.
Susan's enthusiasm and professionalism are second to none and thanks to her Susie and Jeremy will always have that perfect day in which they were able to celebrate theirlove in a tropical paradise with 25 of their closest family and friends.
